I feel privileged to be a member of the Life Righting Collective. I feel even more fortunate that I have been a recipient of one of the many sponsored places on their courses which – I am certain – was a process instrumental in me completing my book We Don't Talk About It. Ever. which went on to be published this year. The gentle support, positive feedback and careful nurturance of my work in the many workshops I have attended run by the LRC is immeasurable.

I believe strongly in the amazing, authentic work that the LRC undertakes and I believe deeply that everyone has a story and should be given the opportunity to find their words, express their truth and connect with others through the power of story-telling.

That is why I am delighted to be part of a team that are putting together a bold and brilliant crowdfunding campaign which will be launched in February 2019 on the international platform GoGetFunding (www.gogetfunding.com)

This campaign aims to raise much-needed funds which will not only offer eighty people from various diverse communities the opportunity to access the power of writing and sharing their own unique stories in workshops but also aid the LRC in publishing their second anthology, after the soaring success of their first, This is how it is - True Stories From South Africa.

We will inform our supporters when the campaign goes live but, in the meantime, we appeal to you to spread the word about this upcoming drive, and dig deep into your own pockets to help others experience the incomparable benefits of self-expression and connection through the written word.
